Emma Ingvarsson

I’m a painter with a fascination of the complexity and mystery of colours, emotions and abstract concepts. I enjoy to get lost in an experimental and intuitive flow during my creative process. I work mainly with acrylics and oil pastels on canvas using not only brushes but different tools to explore new techniques. My creative process is an emotional journey that unfolds with each brushstroke. The dynamic interplay of colours combined with contrasts and experimental layering techniques becomes a visual manifestation of my inner world. With my work I want to invite the viewer to a moment where they get to experience the laughter, the sadness, the confusion, the joy, the heartbreak and the fear shared in a single expression.
